| TL 72" Railgun system....you can hit anywhere on the table.....Smart Missle system pack...48" range...just as damn good. +2 save and if given a couple of shield drones....+4 invuln.

| im sorry i meant to say there is nothing I would waste points on to do that, since ultimately they are still useless to me. I understand the TL Railguns I just dont like the lack of real mobility.

| Marc - The problem I have with the XV88s is that even with slow and purposeful they can be taken out real quick. Its a matter of taste and how you play.
CJ - DP's and moving over 6 inches gives me a glance sure they can still destroy the vehicle but I will take my chances, And with me running the two RH behind the DF it allows me to do a modified FoF which can work depending on the armies I am fighting against.

As an IG player while I hate Pie-Plates the Hammer Head is the preferred target. Broadsides with shield drones take forever to kill, it is sickening. While multiple Basilisk shots almost always eat Hammer Heads by turn 2.
With my Inquisition I would probably prefer fighting Broadsides since with power weapons I'd have the edge when locking them up.
Solidly with you on the style of play bit. It doesn't matter how game effective a model is if its strength adds little to the force. |
