ACME Dreadnought Bash - November 2nd

This upcoming Monday at ACME will be the Dreadnought Bash, a Royal Rumble style free-for-all with only one dreadnought (or deff dread or whatever) left standing.

You can bring any one choice from the following list:

1 Dreadnought (any flavor including standard, venerable, chaos, ironclad, death company, Bjorn, etc.)
1 Defiler
3 Sentinels (any flavor)
1 Carnifex
1 Wraithlord (wraithsight restrictions will be ignored)
3 Warwalkers
1 Talos
1 Deff Dread
3 Killa Kanz
1 Soulgrinder (daemon deep striking rules will be ignored)
3 Penitent Engines
1 Inquisitor What's-His-Name in his Power Chair
3 Tau XV8 Crisis Suits
3 Tomb Spiders

You can use any upgrades allowed and don't worry about points. Initiative will be random. Starting positions will be random but spaced out as much as we can. Nothing out of Imperial Armour though.

1 point scored per kill. 3 points for last man standing. If there's a tie, we'll figure something out.

We'll start as soon as we reach a critical mass of people (probably 7:00 - 7:30) and we will do multiple rounds, time permitting.

No entry fee. Probably no prizes either, unless we have a lot of people show.

sounds like fun!!! although Bjorn is the dead ringer for this one, seriously just not fair!

Totally agree on this one. My deff dread has already learned it the hard way. But you can still count me in.

No. Dreadnoughts or whatever is closest. If you start throwing in any vehicle that can CC, then you get the Sammael on the Ravenwing landspeeder, etc.

I agree that Bjorn is extremely powerful... but it's multiplayer. If Bjorn is a big threat, then people should gang up against him. I wanted to just limit it to Elite and Heavy slots only, but we'll see how it goes.

It's going to really depend on what people bring. Bjorn is scary, but so are 3 warwalkers with dual bright lances. Or 3 armored sentinels with lascannons and camo) (although BS3 hurts them a bit more than it does the warwalkers).

Even 3 crisis suits are a threat, just because of the amount of firepower and the leader's ability to split fire (thus possibly getting more kill points). No shield drones though (unless I get overruled on that one).

Why couldn't this be happening after the Trygon gets released?

No Hive Tyrant plus Guard. We'll do something similar for the HQs though, possibly in December.

We'll probably rotate through the different force org charts, which encourages people to paint up new parts of their army.
