| So how are folks handing the WYSIWYG Extra Armour upgrade for the tourney? Lots of gluing on plasticard and such or just a simple heads up to your opponent? _________________ 2nd place is the 1st loser

| For Rhinos? It's called look at my sheet and see I paid for the points....it's on the inside......LOL
It's just like having reinforced hulls in modern warefare. I don't think we need to model it. Just have it bought and paid for.
My Techpriests are the snizzshit. They make Extra armor look like regular armor. _________________ Disclaimer: Everything I say is meant to be used in a fun and joking manner. Can't deal with it? Grow a ball sack! |

| It does raise a valid argument though CJ, a lot of players model it.
I have seen people at GT's not model it though, just have never played against anyone that has had to clarify it.
I don't really mind either way. _________________ 1750 point win/loss records

| Ha ha I totally agree with CJ. I have never had an issue with modeling extra armour, or heard of one at a tournament. Most players realize that it doesnt exactly come with a bit and requires some modeling ability that you may or may not have. _________________ Ultramarines Win: 13 (Went 3-0 at 1st annual CAG tourny) Lose: 2 (Orks got to bash in some marine heads) Draw: 0
Necrons Win: 3 (cornered some tau) Lose: 1 (couldn't push death guard off an objective) Draw: 0 |

| | yea, it shouldn't be a problem. I think as long as the opponent was made aware of the vehicle having the upgrade before the battle starts then things should be fine. |

Had considered glueing bits of thin cardboard for track guards. The drive was more intensive in WFB with barding for mounts. Personally I'd go with the no-biggie you brought up. |

| While GW is WYSIWYG, there are some things that are almost impossible to make happen without extra funds/talent, which players may or may not have.
Normally, I will just tell my opponent if something is not obviously visable. Like Extra armor, or Barding on Horses. same goes with Weapons. If a Space Marine has a chain sword, and I want to try a power weapon, I will tell my opponent, "Hey, this Sargent has a power weapon, not a chain sword" etc, etc...
if someone is so anal that they say that everything has to be modeled to 100% accuracy, I will gladly allow them to take their money and their time to add extra armor to my models. _________________ Warhammer Fantasy Overlord

| Easiest way to model extra armor is to use extra tank treads.
just glue and paint right on the model.
