| No - I think the main guy that was posting about it just stopped posting on here. Also, as far as I can tell , he stopped showing up at public places to play the game.
Well - at least I haven't seen him play a minis game during any of my shifts during the past 2 months.

I still plan on getting my mech red blok army. The game is pretty damn fun to play, so I don't want to give up on it yet. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| I didnt quit playing, I just quit playing there, and with Bob. He is a terrible loser, and he has CHEATED ME, when playing AT-43, Two different times Ive played him.
Ive got one witness currently on this fourm, thats posts everyday, that has seen him in action, and my wife wittnessed the same behavior as well.
All Rackham Games are massive where I play. Furthermore, every store here loves CAOR & AT-43. I play atleast once to twice a week. (Karmans, Red Blok, Therians, UNA, Wolfen, Griffin, and one day to come, The Dirz.)
And why the hell would anyone play a game at a store that dosent even support the game. Nor do they want to. There is more Rackham fans on this fourm that have put themselves into a position, not to play there games anymore. But, deep down inside, they really want to drag out them minitures and play.
I also know one Huge name on this fourm that just cant play, because no one else there plays Rackham Anymore.
You 40 K guys would love the Games Workshop Stores here. Fully loaded, and stocked, everyday. There is 3 GW stores here. (10 miles from me ) _________________ AT-43

| Hmmm not sure if I'm the HUGE name or not but I'll take the troll.
Yes... I'd love to play AT43. However, it isn't for lack of players...it is strictly for lack of trust that Rackham will be here in 24 months. I won't invest more dollars in their product until I see they are on solid ground. I also won't ask or recruit others to the game when I believe they may be flushing their money.
Look, I was Rackham's schill for 36 months with Confrontation. Heck, I demo'd a game or two for Matt, got Danny into the game and tried to recruit others.
The problem is they changed the rules more often then I changed my shorts and while I was fully invested, the poor guy on the side who only bought one army and bought a certain style of play, usually had that reveresed on them. Sheet. Ask Bob about how he got nerfed on his shooty Griffin only to have it come back in 3.5 and then ripped out from him again when they moved to CAoR.
So... I like AT43. It is no Confrontation 2 or 3 but then neither is CAoR. Both are fun games. I enjoy them..but I won't push them and since painting is an integral part of the entire "hobby" experience for me it really is a big double whammy for me.
Anywho... If this wasn't for me...sorry for the longish response. _________________

Whats the 3rd store? Or would that be 4th if he wasn't including Sci-fi City/Northgate Mall?

| I'm with you John, Rackham are a terrible company to game with.
The way in which they update rules is a joke, that alone turned me off of their games.
Shame really, the models are very cool.

| he moved to Houston. I'm not sure how "Cool" it is though. Thought it was hot as a mother there.
Yea Matt. Rackham's mantra used to be....The rules are a guide...just have fun with the models. So the CORDs (the gaming group fans around the world) constructed limits etc for tournament play to help "standardize" issues. They also banned cards/models that overbalanced play. This really pissed a lot of players off that wanted to use the Rackham only rule sets. But Rackham didn't really care about putting out FAQs or Errata in any timely fashion. Plus they had so many cards/abilities there was often little play testing done on somethings which lead to the games instability (confrontation)>
However, when they shifte to PPP. They changed their mantra to "we are a game company that makes good models". The focus is the rules.
They have a translator who spends time on the forums answering rules questions.
Too bad it seems like the answers, at times, are made up on the fly. They change from one week to the next almost.
I think there was some force in the Therians that caused all sorts of issues with Regenerating troops. But it's been a while. The flip flop on how to play it was ridiculous. The rule should have been dumped b/c it was too powerful. Instead they tried to layer all sorts of when you could and when you couldn't use it into the game.
Wake me up when Rackham figures out what they want to do. Until then I'll play Infinity, hopefully some 40K (which mechanically is moving toward AT43 in some aspects..wound allocation and LOS). _________________
