| | prolly gonna take some time. at-43's mechanics are made easier because of the cards, they are a great reference. The biggest thing with 40k is the limitless amount of options you have with weapons and special abilities, its daunting to see what all you have to remember plus normal gameplay and mechanics |

| Yup, CJ is about as green as it gets still (ok not that green, but still pretty green).
The one thing that really hurts when you are new is being surprised by all the nasty things out there. You really need to know all the armies which can be hard for a new comer.
Let me know if you want to schedule a game. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| | It might also help to play or watch a game with more straightforward armies. Tyranids and Tau both have a lot of special rules, and Tau armies always seem to be firing like 8 different guns at you each turn. Fighting some marines armed with bolters and maybe a missile launcher or two will make for some easier learning. |

| I plan on being there Saturday with some new terrain (the store needs it) and two of my armies, I will bring another player or two so that you can watch/play with us. Should be getting there around 11/12.
Plans may change though, depends on the gf. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| | Eh, definitely not 2000, I don't have enough for that at the moment. Dwarfs vs. dwarfs will be lame, and I only have the skull pass set plus some extra heroes, so you'll pound all over me, so we should do dwarves vs lizardmen. Maybe like 1000 pts? I'll have to figure out a list. I'll have a couple of blocks of saurus, 24 skinks and a few saurus heroes. |
