| I don't care for the high king outside the very cool fig. He is to big and is a large target, making him easy pickings for everyone
I usually just run the runelord I have run the characture and there are some benefits to him.
A recent WD has stats that look really fun if you can find a sucker to play you. It is the White Dwarf on shield. Gotrex and Bugman are the shield barers, with something like 14 combined attacks and the ability to heal a wound a round a 1k and not being legal for tournament play he looks really fun but rarely on the table.
I have not played in a very very long time, so I have no doubt that the dwarfs have been nerfed by the newer Army books. This is a GW SOP from what I have seen in the past. |

Take heart, their book is better than the last. Magical warmachines like the gattling gun can now mow down Dryads like nobodies buisness.
The current rune system is pretty cool to.
Oath "we-don't-need-no-stinking-flanks" Stones... enough said.
Their only downside is those short legs. Which is sort of hard to negate without destroying the game.

Already had a rundown on him from George. Talk about a fluff nightmare.
Then again I still have my Nagash model, wouldn't mind seeing his current stats. |

I haven't used Wraiths as a ranking unit type since.... errrr the Undead book. Before the great schism!
Okay they are skirmishers, but that's still a unit type. I guess GW decided that these figures not being used in game-play for over a decade meant they needed a revamp.
.. just wow... been so long... |

| | Nagash isn't in the book, because they made it focused on the Vampires with Necromancers only being minor support characters. You can't field and Necromancer Lord anymore, much less the Granddaddy of them all. |

| | Anyone who could fight Sigmar in hand to hand and mortally wound him before getting toasted probably wouldn't fit in the current rules. |

| It's not about his stats, do You know who Sigmar is? If not Sigmar was the dude that united the Empire together and kicked major ass, supposedly twice, through reincarnation (Volten?) and killed Archaon but was killed by an assasins blade shortly there after.
So no, no treeman would be able to take him down, only a true special hero or some stupid Skaven ass But I thinks its his time to resurface to take on Grimgor Ironhide! But he would just get slaughtered seening as Grimgor is the best character in the game imo... _________________ The footprints made in the sands of time are not made by sitting down... | | The game has gone more towards unit fighting with the combat resolution thing in these last several editions. Legendary characters do tend to have some nutty advantages that tend to take them out of the normal rules. Volten on zero wounds has to fail a leadership 9 test to actually die, otherwise he gets back like one wound. Nagash theoretically would be a level five or maybe even six wizard in this rule set. |

| | grey seer thanquol has 5 spells, he also has 13 warpsotne tokens which he can reroll the results of once per token and he can regain all the wounds he lost in a turn and has a ward save of somthing like 4+, but hurts one skaven in base contac if in a unit if he saves and he gets boneripper the reanimated rat ogre |
