Ok everyone will have a set amount of gold that they can purchase their army or build stuff... No one is going to be starting with the same amount of points for their army...
if you can field a 3,000 point army you can run by yourself, actually most people only had 2000 when we played and didn't have issues, but for the first couple of years in the campaign no one will have more than 1500 in a banner at one time.
The rule book is about 30-40% done. Making some good progress though!

Hopeful start time before the end of april!

I'm interested in playing either lizardmen or dwarfs, but I definitely need to be on a team, cause I don't know how often I'll be able to play.

I can stand alone or be on a team. I will be going on vacation in Sept, but other than that, I don't expect to miss much. Just let me know what you need, a team player? Or another faction to spice things up. I should be able to raise 3000 points for any of my armies.

Are you able to get a game in a week? if you can choose the date and time?
Forfeiting is really bad and can be costly depending on how mean your opponent is...
Someone else can play battles if you can't, even if it is a route it would be better than a forfeit sometimes...

Yep. Hense why playing sollo ain't so hot. I can arrange a game date it is just if the day isn't regular then a week in advance is generally necessary.

Although right now we have played constantly on Thursdays at Scifi City.

Each turn that has a battle generally has seven days to play the battle... If that can't be done then your best bet is for sure with a team.

Also say you don't have enough models? If it is possible anyone can utilize other peoples minis and I have a descent amount of armies...

Sadly the no Fantasy army is an issue.

Just an update. Playtesting is in it's final days and I'll have the rules posted by the end of next weekend!

If you are interested in playing and do not see your name on the list at the begining of the thread let me know.

Those that are on the list try to cement with me what army you for sure are gonna play. Also what team if any you would like to be on based on the list.

Crobar You mind teaming with Wittdooley to Be the High Elf team?
Frostwolf= Skaven or VC
Marc= Empire
Angry Bob= VC
JMarv=Lizardmen or Dwarfs
JPitt= Orc & Goblin
wittdooley= High Elves

Teams Would Be just an idea as of right now:
High Elves Crobar/wittdooley
Vampire Counts Frostwolf/ Angry Bob
Dwarf/Empire Jmarv/Marc
Orcs & Goblins Jpitt

If you have any suggestions or wanna go it alone PM me.
I'll have the Rules up Friday or Saturday just cleaning the rules up some more and ironing out stuff. If you want a copy to read and try a turn on paper and see if you see any loop holes or anything that doesn't seem clear. I can email it to ya. Would speed things up a bit. If I have more people combing over it.

Just FYI I set a test run in 10 minutes.
My starting force was only 690pts.
1st Hero is free.
No ones force can be larger than 1000points on the first year. And it'll be hard pressed to get it too big!
There are a lot of checks and balances in the game that will restrict too large of an army... You'll se it all makes since...ish. kinda, ok it sounds good.
