So I played warmachine back in the days of "i have a starter box and PP cant keep a release date for new models to save their life" era. Got frustrated although I LOVED the game itself. I was a huge Menoth fan...thinking about getting back into it when i return...love the play of and look of the Protectorate faction...can anyone tell me what the concept of play style is behind the new faction...i have already got a look at some of the models and they are impressive.

But haven't seen Necromunda in a store in a VERY long time. Like back in college.

No clue with the newer rules. ...

Eric here at the store wants to know who is interested in doing DUNGEONS & DRAGONS miniatures and STAR WARS miniatures games on Wednesday nights.

This would be between 6pm to close this Wednesdays and the wednesdays that follow.

This Wednesday he is suggesting that whoever is interested gets together here at the store to talk about it.

...Oh...and I'm interested as well in playing and learning one or both of them.

A couple of buddies and myself were thinking of getting into one of the games, but really couldnt find much comparing the two together. All I've really seen is stuff like, "wow its so fun" or "its really sweet". Not a whole lot to base a chunk of change on.

I've posted some info on this game on some local and private fourms here in Houston, and the responce was somthing like the Grand Fanally at the WEBN fireworks show.

People are raving over this game, and have never even played it yet. There is several stores here, as we speak asking there suppliers if they can get it in there stores A.S.A.P.

The reason I posted this, I just havent seen this much excitment over a game in a long while, and think it's really cool.

I still hate that it's collectible, wish they'd just sell army packs for 50 bucks or whatever, but I still think it's a ...

These little guys are pretty sweet looking. Some of the sub-unit types are pretty useful too. At about $15 a fig getting the max of eight may be a bit much. Need at least four.

With my painting style need to have all of them to be painted at the same time to get the color mixing right.

So John M what kind of point totals are you comfortable with in Infinity?

This is being held at ACME games on 4/26. Noon to 7pm. It is a challenge - NOT A TOURNAMENT.

We call it a challenge b/c we are all a bunch of Noobs learning to play. More detail below. You can get a demo or play with a 250 pt premade list (I'll have 3 of these available). So come out and watch, learn and/or play.
