To sum it up (in case you're lazy) someone pointed out a few days ago that the rules for spearhead deployment say that the first player to set up must deploy 12&quot; away from the middle. Then it says the second player to set up must deploy in the opposite table quarter.

			<description>Ok so my chimera and vets inside them count as one unit so they fire at the remains of a space marine squad...



I score 3 wounds from the multilaser (chimera) and 3 plasma guns wounds (from the vets inside) My opponent has 2 guys left, a normal marine and his captain or whatever...



He says since theres an even number of wounds, he allocates the 3 plasma to the normal guy, and the 3 multilaser (savable) wounds to his captain...



That is not how I read the rules but after trying to  ...</description>

Crimson Fists: That they use a lot of Scouts, Vanguard Veterans. And with the Chapter master Vanguard count as scoring units.

I want to put him on a 40mm base instead of the supplied 25mm base.  I'm fairly certain this is allowed, but are there any real drawbacks to putting him on the larger base, other than the fact that more enemies can touch him?  He looks like a very full model and I just don't think the 25mm is going to let me do what I want.

Is Imperial Armor allowed in the area?  Particularly the updates?  I'm thinking of adding a Sisters of Battle squad to my Space Marines force.  According to their dex, rhinos run 50, but IA updated their cost to only 35 + free smoke.  



Speaking of, are there going to be any issues with using SoB allies?



And how do tournaments affect these?  Are SoB allies typically  ...</description>

a squad of guys.. one plasma gun one lascannon lots of bolters and a vet with combi plasma..  they decide to shoot at a tank..



can you:

1.) shoot the lascannon see the result, shoot the plasma gun see the result, then shoot the combi plasma... that way you dont waste it if the las or plasma kills the tank.. since you pick the squad shooting, pick the unit.. then roll for the weapons individually..

so, in the Imperial Guard codex, when you purchase a Chimera as a transport for a squad, does the 70 points for having them mounted on a chimera the same as the cost of the chimera, or are they both added together



for example: when you have an armored fist squad, they are mounted onto a chimera for 70 points

but when you purchase the chimera, it is 70+weapons

so is the total cost

Turn 2...Wave Serpent loaded with banshees, dropped them in the movement phase, drove Wave Serpent 12&quot;, moved a squad of Harlies with in 2&quot; of transport and loaded them to be dropped off in 3rd turn.

All happened in the same movement phase and couldn't find any rule against it. Just seeing what ppl thought.]]></description>

Basically can a librarian teleport himself or himself with a unit out of close combat?



I hadn't given much thought about doing that but then after reading I think you can.  And of course using the locator beacon not the teleport homer to make it so that no one disappears because their is not scatter.
