Here is the finished product. I'm happy with the figure but the green 'Nid blood didn't turn out as expected. It is 5 min epoxy with some pigment. It sprang back as I was stretching which has it curling vs. hanging down. I may try and fix it at a future date (but not likely.) The hazard stripes are a decal from Armorcast that has been painted over.

Excellent.... I think the blood drips look great. No need to do anything to it.

Yeah, I'll agree with Caelyn, John, I like how the blood turned out. It makes it look gooey and alien! Smile

Sure... but if you've got the Space Hulk White Dwarf from September that is almost 100% the recipe here.

Based in Chocolote brown (VMC) + Codex Grey. 2:1
Wash with Badab black and Scored brown and water
Reclaim volumes with Codex Grey and Chocolate brown 1:1
codex grey (Cold Grey VGC)
Stonewall Grey (VGC)
Polished Bone (RMS - sub for Deneb stone). note: I'm not sure that there is enough difference in light to dark to do both the Stonewall and polished bone. I think 1 or the other would be fine. The polished bone puts more yellow into the mix.
highlight with white.

Glaze with 1:1 chocolate brown and codex grey.

Retouch white highlights.

All these are thinned about 1:2 with water. each layer was done 2 or 3 times depending on opacity achieved.
