Sat. May 3rd 40K

Subject: Sat. May 3rd 40K Sun Apr 27, 2008 9:49 pm

Who can make a run for a mock tourney? Think of it as a dry run. We'll play at sci-fi city. Get there at 10 and start playing by 10:30. The intent is to get 2 games in as if they were for the tourney. This will be a tremendous help for me to see how it may go, and gets some experience under the belts of some of the noobs!
So 1750pts.
Time limit.
Let me know who is coming and I'll get a couple of things together for who plays who, I'll set the terrain on the tables per the tourney ish.
I want to try to use 4 tables at 6x8 (I believe thats what we can get there.)

So Anyone interested? Maybe just maybe I'll hold another drawing for those that show up AND are registered for the tourney already.
So I can also be paid at this time if anyone can or wants to.

they have 3 6'x8'

So you can do 4 6'x4'

and the tourny is 3 games, going to try for that this saturday?

Actually this time I WILL be there in the morning - Cailla and I switched shifts.

Would measuring tape and masking tape help you guys measure off the right sizes and shapes on our tables?

Also - I've got some odds and ends around here that I meant to convert into terrain for my RPGS - never got around to that tho .

Any of you guys interested in using it ??

I'll bring that stuff to the store with me.

Just two games to shoot for. If people can do three then cool, but 2 should be good.

May be there but no promises...the wife is sytill holding a death grip and I only have had 2 dry runs with my tourny army...I need at least one more.

I'm going to make my best effort to be there. The GF works all week, so she may hold me for ransom Saturday. We shall see.

Hey guys those who will be there on Saturday can you bring a list for that army you are playing with for me and your opponent. No handwrites please. Spell everything out. This will help me figure out how long it will take for me to go thru the lists while at the tourney too!
And no it doesn't have to be your tourney list but might help you to play with it...

hey guys just letting you know it doesnt look good for me this weekend.. gonna go out of town saturday night and not sure when i am going to have to come back home. i will do what i can to work things out.

if this mock tourney works, when will it be over? by 4 or so?
