I played it twice at Origins. The system is super easy, and pretty intuitive. I think it should fill a nice niche for folks that may want that larger battle, ancients feel.

I don't particularly like the collectible aspect they're going with, but they are selling a "guaranteed every figure" army for something like, $90, which, as goes 40k, is pretty much nothing.

I just know if I get any of the prepaints I'll be repainting them.

Anyways, I'm going to, at the very least, get a starter, and I'm going to play with the Romans. Something about dudes riding bears just gets me goin.
