| These figures are the Warband in the Combined Army. Light assault troops specialized in CC w/ little regard to their own life.
Members of the Morat supremecy, they benefit from the no retreat rule.
Abilities: mimetism - a form of camo that causes a penalty to hit.
Martial Arts Level 4 - get into CC combat with these guys and you can kiss your Azz goodbye. First attack, no ARO, cancels other abilities...etc.
Impetuous: They benefit from a "pre round" Order as long as part of that order is movement and that movement brings them closer to the enemy.
Coma: A psychic attack which can incapcitate an enemy figure with in 8 inches of the Daturazi. Due to their high sense of honor, they will not employ this attack until they have brought an enemy death via other means.
Equiped: Combi Rifle and smoke grenades Chain rifle and smoke grenads
Combi rifle is the standard shot in the game Chain rifle has limited range but functions like a large flame thrower.
The best way to use these guys is to lay down a wall of smoke with your smoke grenades during your impetuous activation. Then bring your troops up under the smokes cover avoiding the return fire of enemy troops.
With an availability of 4 they are tough to handle and need to be brought down before engaging your troops.

| My favorite colour on the fig, is the snake bite. That colour always seems to get me outta trouble, and looks great on most natural pant, skirts leathers, ect. _________________ AT-43

Thanks...these are actually very "table top" for me. Spent about an hour or 2 each in batches using a standard recipe.
Clean lines requires a good brush and steady hand. The steady hand part comes from painting more. You will get better just by painting a lot of figs and practicing the same techniques. You end up w/ some muscle memory that makes what you are doing easier and faster.
The good brush is an investment up front ($10 to $20) but you won't be disappointed. _________________

| Thanks for the tips. I have already followed your suggestion and picked up both the soap and WN Series 7 brushes, I went with the mini series as the bristles looked a little shorter.
do you have tips one how to thin the paint, I feel like part of mt issue is the thickness of the paint. I started with floor wax thined, but found that it fell out and did not hold, so I have switched to liquitex slow-dri and flow aid this is helping but I feel like I either to thick or have thinned to much, I am also using a shaker to mix the paint I have found I 'don't shake my paint long enough to get a good mix. |
