Anyone play still or interested in playing?

GW has a pdf up of the rules for those who don't have them, or have *hem* misplaced their copy.

It's a gang fight game, set in the Hives of Armaghedon. You need ~12 models, most imperial guard will do.

Sci-Fi city has open tables on Sundays, at least they did sunday when I asked. The 25th is bad for me, but if a few more are interested a campaign cound be put together. I'll have to see how much of my scenery items survived the moves.

I might be able to afford this one since it is squad based and I don't have to buy many models.

A box of guard models will get you through. I've got a few extras around too.

Hmm, seems the cats like my old scenery stuff, might be a rather open board for a time or two.

The game is fun but for all you guys who have not played it before the terrain is as important as any other aspect of the game. You could play it on a regular table kind of like a shoot out, but that would get boring without all the up's and downs the boxed terrain provided.

Also, the base rules follow mostly the 2nd edition 40k rules, so lots of math, cover modifiers, etc.. Back in the day a 40k game with people who knew the game took like 5 hours. This game was fun because it could last 2 minutes or a hour depending on the chess match tactics it takes to play.

All in all a fun game, but with out proper terrain will be a quick burnout.

Also a huge part of the game is based on the honor system, and that in it self causes tons of problems depending on the people you play with.

ok so from what i've heard this is one of the greatest games gw has ever put out. i would love to volunteer myself to build a ton of terrain for it if we're going to do it. what type of terrain does it need? give me some good ideas and it will be done.

I will get with you Danny and give you some ideas of what kind of meaning terrain has in a Necro game.

Most will agree that Necromunda is the best game ever, except Matt, he likes Gorkamorka, but he is from England so he doesn't matter.

google searches for necromunda, or the various gang names. plus reaper minis have a few that work. Almost any unarmored human with melee weapons and or firearms can work, if it's 25mm or so.
