how do you make a rpg amazing? make it in the warhammer 40k universe i am so pumped about dark heresy if it ever comes out lol!

they keep on bumping up the release date.

Yeah it was supposed to be out early this year, and now they say spring next year. No fair!

I have run a few successful games off of a slightly modified Inquisitor rule set.

Dark heresy is almost the same game from what I read in the demo packet they released.

So if you guys ever want to do a session, lemme know!

dude there makinga 40k rpg sweet......inquisitor never took off i think i dont know anyone who knows about it but me really (exculding nathen and bruce)

Just like gorkamorka, bfg, necromunda (although this did see some success) and all of the other fanatic games.

Funny thing is, these games are very very well supported by the community.

All really good games though, and like I said... the demo for Dark Heresy and Inquisitor are very very similar.

Dark Heresy should be instock at Sci-Fi City either today (thursday) or on Friday!!!!

The main book ($50), GM Kit ($20), and the Character Folio ($7) are due i when UPS delivers!!

So rumor has it today from Scott at ACME games that they have already discontinued the Dark Heresy and WHF Roleplay. They will continue to make some support product through around October, but then thats it. Apparently GW is pulling the plug on the role play products and will only support their novels. I'm super excited about this game but I hate to hear this. Also a small rumor that Green Ronin may pick up some stuff, but GW isnt working with the licensing issues to well for that to happen either.

Yeah we posted it on the news forum.

It's not GW pulling the plug (people sure do like to paint them in a bad light) but the BL. They make more money elsewhere (books:)). So they are halting production of RPG's (which are produced by Black Industries, which the BL own).

Quite a shame though.

I wonder if this news means it will end up on Specialist Games website with Inquisitor?

Yeah, I hope the same thing. But it' a BL production, so I doubt it will end up on the specialist site.

It will most likely be picked up by another company once GW shops around.
