| I've been reading WD340 and they give some information on the new daemon stuff. But abilities easily traverse the 40K/Fantasy multiverse. Such as Skulltaker, he rends on a 4+ in 40K and has Killing Blow on 5+ in Fantasy.
The Soul Grinder's stats were put into the WD and they are decent, the Maw Cannon on it is really scary though.
Of the special characters you only really get the most of Skulltaker's and Karanak's (three-headed Flesh Hound). You get some idea of Epidemius' and The Masque's, but not much. Opinions?
Oh, and I put this topic here because I did not know where else to put it.

| moved it over to the general discussion area.
Rending on a 4+ is just nasty. How many attacks does he have? Any idea of movement speed?

| They went overboard on purpose it seems. All the Slaanesh bits will be brutal until Rending is toned down in 5th. | |

| I have no idea, there were no stats given, but from the amount of models killed you get some small inkling of how powerful these things are. I think the Masque of Slaanesh has some sort of Lash-like power. | |

| I read through more closely and found Skulltaker has 4 attacks, and the flamers are pretty frickin scary. | |

| That White Dwarf battle report was very interesting to me. First off, the Lord of Change as they had it equipped was 330 pts! And it did very little in the game.
Skulltaker is like 140pts and 4 attacks is the norm for a lord-like IC. And he from warseer he has instant death rending on a 4+ to wound.
Jervis is not a very good tactician, his personal space marine army dev squad carries two heavy bolters, a plasma cannon and a lascannon. That might be the worst armament possible.

| Who knows? That battle report might actually have been real, simply because the Daemons did not win!
Those Soul-Crushers still seem un-godly good (except against dreads in cc. It only has S 6)

| I think he is just making a joke that the only good build on a dread is a twin LC and a Missile Launcher.
... so a dread should never be in cc anyway.
