| Thanks, guys I'm really happy with them at the moment (except for the skin tones on the rank and file guys.... the plastic faces are hard to get right.... Hopefully I can win at least one game tomorrow! CJ, uh, well, you'll just have to wait until tomorrow, huh?? _________________ A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age. | I just love gritty paint jobs so the tanks get the full five-stars. |

| Nope, onlyinkenya, didn't win once, unfortunately.... I did get a draw in the last game, though, so I didn't lose all three games! I have some ideas to make my list a bit more competitive, so here's hoping that I find some time to update it soon! But, overall, once my guys got into close combat, it was pretty much over! Are you going to take some pics so we can see those CSM's in process?
Angry Bob, I feel that since the rule book says "in the gritty future, there is only war" that clean looking vehicles are not something very common, especially when it comes to the Imperial Guard. I feel that they should be dirty, gritty, and battered (like with the Hellhound and the shell pitting in the dozer blade). I'm in process of building my second Baneblade, and I think I may do a little different of a paint scheme (but still close to what I've done already), but it will definitely have the same feel _________________ A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age. | Some rough riders would make for some nice counter charge in the event of being bogged down in assault. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 23 (Belial helped wreck Ryan's puny Eldar) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| Only bad thing about the rough riders is that I hate the Rough Riders models they have right now... I had thought about converting some cold ones (or even the Lizardmen Terradons ) but I still don't know if I like the concept of guys on mounts.... Just doesn't seem all that "Ultramar" to me.... I was thinking that if I did do an Inquisitor force with a custom Ultramar/Ultramarine Inquisitor, then I could bring in some SM stuff and unify my forces! Maybe a few terminators, or some SM with power weapons or something like that... _________________ A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age. | I would like to see how you do that. I myself was impressed with how your army appeared on the table. So let us see what you got coming next, break them coldones out. |

| I've seen some people do some good rough rider work with the lizardmen cold ones as mounts.
Another option is using cavalry from the Lord of the Rings line, they're GW so it's all good there, and the horse models are much better. |

| Wow, I do like the FW Rough Riders, but I'm already spending 200 bucks on a Macharius Vulcan with Cadian crew members! lol! I think I might just do an inquisition army, I have a killer idea for a converted SM terminator that I'll use for the Inquisitor Lord! I guess I could still use a unit of rough riders as allies, if it comes to that, but I haven't gotten into the Daemonhunters codex enough yet to know exactly what I can and cannot use _________________ A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age. | Just a thought, you could model some WW bikes, Harlies come to mind, to count as bikes and attack bikes. I think it would look pretty sweet. |

| Thanks, racer8 I don't know if I remember seeing you roam around, as that was really hectic at the tourney! i do like how these guys turned out, but I already have a list of ways I want to improve on them! Too bad I didn't do any better playing _________________ A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age. | Well, if that GREAT army didn't win any games.... i have a LOT of stuff to do. It might sound kinda funny but i only have 30 cadians, and two leman russ which are not fully asembled. i think i spelled leman russ wrong but you know what i mean. Im not trying to force you to remember me, but i watched when you faced that guy with the yellow space marines after lunch. you did play that guy with the yellow space marines right? |

| Yup that was me... and now that you mention it, I think I remember you stopping by! As I get older, I have a worse and worse memory, I tell ya.... Yeah, even though the IG do well with shooting, they are horrible with close combat, which is the exact reason I didn't do all that well! You'll probably see my Inquisitor list that I'm looking into in the section for Army lists, as I might be able to improve my standard IG army with some inquisitor close combat support, even though I'll be scrapping some of the more special units... I'll still be able to use those for Apocalypse, but just not for normal games if I do the Inquisitor Army... _________________ A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age.
