Was curious about interest in a tournament at the Illuminati or a campaign?

a multi week long campaign.. Give me your thoughts.. opinions etc

I don't know about being at a store but A fantasy campaign starts begining of next month, and fantasy tournament at the begining of oct, and a 40K tourney in Mayish...

But none will be in any stores but in a nuetral site, But having said that wouldn't be a bad thing to have other tourneys and what nots!

well i was hoping to see about the campaign to get people to start showing up for a weekly monday game night.. mainly being selfish since it is right down from my apt..

and if the vote goes to tournament id like to see how many would attend.. and definetly would need some help judging etc... heh

I cast my vote for campaign, but I'm down for either or.

campaign pluses

1. everyone would be able to have a single day a week to always get together

2. it would be fun to talk about with our little circle of caggers

3. less stress than a tournament

just make sure we are able to work people in who are walk-ins (maybe maybe not)

My preference is for campaigns. Although they are tricky devils with balancing rules and keeping organized. So tournaments have an edge on ease of balance. From personal experience a bad tournament is many times worse than a bad campaign.

For the campaign you still need to post some of the material or provide it in a format more basic than MS Word.

what is more basic than Word... seriously... I can put it into notes but the tables get jumbled up. JUst FYI anyone can get a 3month trial of office 2007 free from the MS website if ya need it, or if you want I can get you a cheap copy of Word 03
