Ian Villamagna was a judge and the 24th (non eligible) player. As he managed to pick up the one bunker with the door prize, I randomized and it went to Spencer Chaney.
Wayne Maxey and Toby Pinkerton outlasted all others in the quiz. Wayne missed the question over who has the highest strategy rating, Chaos Marines, Dark Eldar or Necrons (you can look it up).
Toby and Josh did a terrific job in batlle points and good soft scores to take the $160.00 and $100.00 certificates respectively.
Erik Hamre's marines scored one off perfect, along with Greg Mounce's Tyranids, and his overall better scores gave him the appearance award with a $75.00 certificate.
Last but not least, Andrew Wehener scored a perfect 20 in sportsmanship. Along with his third place overall, he received the sportsmanship tag and $75.00 credit.
Special thanks to the folks who helped run and set up the show, Ian, Steve Chaney and Brice Blair.
KrystalKeep and I hope to set up a monthly or semi monthly 40K event, with nice prize support and various formats. Saturdays will not always be available, so I'm thinking of friday night combat patrol, and possibly sunday afternoons as well. Anyone interested is urged to throw in their two cents worth of advice, critique and suggestions.
I personally am interested in the Big Waaagh and the Maul at the Mall events in Tennessee. Dicehead Games runs both and you can check their website out for details. Anyone interested, let me know.
