| Well, with the receipt of my Black Reach Termies on Friday it was time to let the kids go to town. I let the girls do the base coat, Wash and drybrush. I help them get the right amount of paint on the brush for the last two steps. Then I go to town with some quick details and glaze. Kate with her "Dark Pink" Termie  Kari with her Purple Termie.  Kate's Champion finished (with initial of course). Kari is still in the WIP stage.   |

| That looks pretty damn good...that's it I quit when a little girl can out paint me.

She really is the basecoat, wash and drybrush. Works great for spacemarines. It doesn't hurt to have daddy mix your paint and load your brush.
Besides Necrons I don't think there is another army out there you could do this with as easily. |

| Tell the kids great job John! You'll have them winning golden demons any day now.
Also to everyone else, take this as an opportunity to notice how important paint mixing and viscosity along with how much paint you have on the brush really matters.
Obviously you probably have the manual dexterity and concentration skills of small children, but if your paint is gloppy or your brushes aren't good the kids are still going to eat your lunch. | |
