Hunting Hounds of Orion Empty

Well... here they are. I feel pretty good about them. My glow effects aren't great, but I'm learning. Hopefully I can make Orion look similarly decent.

Here's both of them

And one by himself

The brown is supposed to be on the feet. I figure he's a dog trudging through the forest...he's not gonna be super clean.

The green stones are supposed to be wood elf rune stones. There are a few on Orion's base as well, and when they're together they make a sort of circle.

Enjoy.

I like the dogs. Good show on the mud effects, glowing eyes and runes.

Don't be scared to reinforce some darker mud splatters with additional glazing or stippling.

The first 2 pics are a bit fuzzy up front but come into focus about 2/3rds back on your base.

This is a typical issue in macro photography that relates to "depth of field". When doing Macro photography you need to set to the little Flower on your camera. Then you need to see if you can set the aperture. Higher F stop numbers will work better. I use 8.0 or greater.

If your camera doesn't have this ability see if it has an Aperature priority setting. (note...this may end up messing with the lighting then but give it a shot). The best option is if you can control Fstop and shutter speeds.

Good luck and keep painting.
