I'm getting into another RPG with some friends and I would LOVE to have a MUSASHI the Samurai looking fellow...?
any body have one in hand please...?

thanks for the link! Infinity is skirmish. They are all just one unit. Most of the time you are playing with only 10 figures max. He has a martial arts skill that lets him take about anyone down in Hand to Hand. He's got a skill the lets him continue to live after he's taken his last wound. He's got a giant flame thrower template weapon. HE's dirt cheap points wise. only negative is he has no long range weapons so you gotta sneak up with him. But when you get him there.....look out. |

| WOW I was refering to how the pics form the site show several diffrent posed figs for the "units" I assumed when you bought, you would get like 3-4 fig in each pack... I didn't realize it was true Skirmish... Man I wish I had more time.... | |

| He's just one to a blister but others come 2 to 3 to a blister. Some just one.
If there are 2 different poses in the picture you'll get 2 in the pack.
It is a very reasonable game to get into. A starter box (6 figs) and 2 blisters and you are ready to go. Free download of the rules to boot. |

| got my Musashi in the mail today John, how does one know what his ablilities are? The Packing card lists "Equipment" and Faction but no stats | |

Troop Type: irregular Doesn't add his order to the orders pool. Cannot be enrolled as Lt of the force. Equipment: Cube Ballistica Weapon: Chain Rifle
Close Combat Weapon: Armour Piercing CCW - AP cuts the ARM value of the figure being attacked in half. Round up. Explosive CCW - opponents hit will need to take 3 rolls to wound.
Skills: Martial Arts Level 5 - gives access to ML 1 to 4. 5 allows one CC roll to dount as hitting all opponents in CC (versus trying to hit just one). Level 4 - cancels any opponent action w/ ML 1 to 3 Level 3 - allows figure to attach first in CC Level 2 - Automatically passes WIP rolls if he takes a wound. (doesn't have to retreat) Level 1 - negates the +3 ARM bonus for an opponent in CC. (essentially easier to kill your opponent.
Close combat with 2 weapons (means he can use both CCWs in Close Combat versus choosing 1 or the other)
Valor: No wound incapacitation. - won't pass to unconscious state when receiving a wound. Another wound kills them (essentially gives the fig 2 wounds)
This is a D20 system. It requires that you roll your attribute or lower in order for an action to take effect.
So, if you have a CC attribute of 22 you cannot fail your 'too hit' roll in CC. Since the figure has MA level 5, the opponent doesn't strike back until you hit with your 2 weapons. One of your weapons causes the armor value to be cut in 1/2. The other causes 3 wound rolls.
So, in essence your opponent will be taking 4 automatic ARM rolls (armour save) in CC with Mushashi before you ever get to strike back at him.
Now, I've generalized this a bit and obviously there are other factors that effect game play. But, if he gets to Close Combat....look out. |
