| Excellent! That puts us at 7 slots left. I'm looking forward to hanging with you guys again, if not playing each other. Are you or Erik interested in Adepticon this coming spring? The Hellfish will probably have a meeting in december to start planning... | |

| Yeah, this thing will be a blast. We have talked about A-Con, but that is about it. I am going to look into it a little more. I am OK with the team concept, so why not!!! | |

| I look forward to seeing you guys in Fairborn! We are full up now, so it should be some fun! Also, if you players wanna try something else, KrystalKeep in Kettering is running an Iron Man 40K competition, sort of like the "Tale of Four Gamers" in White Dwarf. $20.00 to enter, and you build a new army over four months, 500 points a month. We get together once a month to show progress and be graded for assembly and painting, and play a couple of games. At the end, we play a mega battle where kill points get added to your overall score, and there is a final paint judging for bonus points. Go here for details - http://www.krystalkeep.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=531 | |

| Lots of fun was had and the Bookery is extremely impressive! I Was paired up against Kevin Kirby (Devilfish) 1st game- Eldar Pulled out a very close tie... stupid fast vehicles. He was able to take the win away by contesting some of the objectives on the last turn I can only Death and Glory so many In one turn and it worked!!! Eric Miller (DevilFish) 2nd Game- Chaos Space Marines (3 Land Raiders) I have a new hatred for Landraiders, Just didn't have enough Can openers. My two looted wagons with Boomguns hit about every turn but couldn't even glance. Abaddon took out my battlewagon and surprisingly was very close to Old Zogwart, who used his curse on abaddon, we diced of and Abaddon rolls a 1. All I have to do now is roll a 2 or higher and Abaddon becomes a squig! except as my luck was this day i too rolled a 1 and abaddon ran away! Snikrots group did take out a tank and put 3 wounds on abaddon but then proceeded to get wiped out. It was all about kill points and I killed 1 unit of 1,000 sons that were in a rhino. He killed the kammandos, battlewagon , and 1 boyz unit. Carl Dillion (CAG) 3rd Game- Dark AngelsANd yes once again in a capture and hold mission I moved my stupid scoring unit off teh objective before I could get it back to it! Carl is smart and keeps a scoring unit close to his and Wins! I'll get pics up shortly. I wound up going 0-2-1. Wayno won overall! | |

| I just want to thank all the CAGers who came up north to the Bookery for the RTT it was great to see you guys again. I can't wait for your next RTT this coming year! Sean, no squig for you . It would be just wrong if Abaddon turned into a squig, whew! that was scary . Wanyo congrats on the big win! | |

| Big thanks go out to everyone who made the drive! I was prepared for more heated games with the prizes as large as they were, but everyone worked out the rules amicably and had a good time.
Wayne Maxy won overall with his Eldar, edging his buddy Erik Hamre. Wayne killed so much in his first two games he was able to take overall even with a draw in the third. Congrats!
Painting went to Tim Wright with a terrific Death Guard army. Tim usually hangs out at KrystalKeep, but now maybe he'll visit Bookery once in a while too.
Sportsmanship went to Jon (Roberts)?, the youngest player there I believe. Jon is very easy going, and I think this is his first time placing in a tourney.
Craig (Engle)? won the quiz in style. Each player had to rattle off one of the founding 18 space marine legions (2 have been struck from the records of the original 20). It started easily enough but got tougher and tougher, till there were only 4 legions left and John Carroll missed.
I have a great time setting these events up, and I plan on several in 2009. Eric Ellis will be running a 1000 point lightning style 5 round tournament in january, similiar to the one I ran this year at KrystalKeep. As I get info I will post it... | |

| Congrats Wayno! Hard fought victory, you deserved it. I wish 2nd place had gotten some kind of prize support . Great Tournament all around. I can't get over how much nicer the Dayton area stores are. I mean they totally blow the Cincy stores out of the water. As usual, the local tourny scene rocks. I met a ton of awesome people, and it was good to see the regulars again. | |

| Very nice set up there if I were to have a complaint... I guess it would have been more prizes for more people. maybe a door prize and prizes for 2nd and 3rd. But not really a complaint just wanted to win something lol ... look forward to some more tourneys! That I am not running | |

| Thanks guys! I would also like to give a big thanks to Eric at The Bookery and Kevin Kirby for putting this thing together. That was a great laid back and smooth flowing event. It was great to see all the regulars as well as the new faces. And as always there were lots of great looking forces. Hey Warmonger, I so did not want to see those three Land Raiders and Abaddon. I have been so close, so many times. The monkey is off my back! | |
