| Tried and True Ten armies to choose from now. A 500-1000pt battle is fairly quick. Ships point values typically range from 30-400pt a pop though you can get Fortresses and such. I have the rulebook if anyone wants to give it a look. Check out models here |

| I played a few games back in the day, seemed like a pretty amazing game (albeit under supported).
Lots of good fanatic stuff going on with it still, new rules etc.
I'd be interested in trying some out at some point. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 23 (Belial helped wreck Ryan's puny Eldar) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| If there is enough players interested I do not mind buying and painting up two fleets for demo purposes.
Classic Imperial versus Orks for example. A few Frigates and Gunships along with some basic Cruisers would be enough. Simple |

| I think I'd cast or make my own... But I'd be up for a demo game. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 23 (Belial helped wreck Ryan's puny Eldar) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| Man, I know some of you guys are new to the GW System so here are a few helpful hints for all the noobs out there who think there is a reason to play old games.... Step 1. Go to Site http://www.specialist-games.com/Default.asp Step 2. Read Rules http://www.specialist-games.com/battlefleetgothic/rulebook.asp Step 3. Realize game is EXTREMELY un-balanced get REALLY bored playing. Step 4. Repeat step 1. Finding a new game to play and continuing to follow steps until all options exahsted then go back to playing 40k.... BTW most of the rulebooks are here for the specialty games. GL |

| Its not THAT unbalanced as say Star Wars Starship Battles...
...but Tau are not gonna win any BFG games for sure. |

| I'd be willing to play, although I don't know if I have the cash in invest in a fleet right now. I remember a crossover battle report in WD that was pretty cool. Space marines taking an enemy space cannon mounted on a planet, and that affected how many turns the giant laser thing got to shoot in the BFG game. We could do some similar things, although I think the other way around would be better. Play a BFG game and then maybe the winning side gets an orbital bombardment or something in 40K. |

| CJ, this is a post about BFG, make another post about Necromunda if you want to talk about it.
Don't derail Marc's post.

| Strike 1?
STRIKE 1!?!?!?!?
Do a BFG game where someone has to invade someone else, make a boarding action, then play a combat patrol to represent that. |
