..well ..no I'm just saying folks could say poo on your email. We are only ever "told by GW" when they put it in a Rulebook or official FAQ. In your case, we're talking mainly Splinter Rifles and you would also be moving closer to me anyways.. so yea, I'd play a friendly

| i believe this ponts out the futility of the askyourrules question... - Quote :
- Hello,
Actually, I have to apologize. I missed a small point in the rulebook that says you can’t fire from a vehicle if it moves cruising speed, which is more than 6”. I was mistaken. I apologize for the confusion.
Thanks!

| SO,...this was the discussion that was mentioned yesterday at the store?
Looking through the thread , part of the problem appears to be clumsy use of English or semantics. Mainly the confusing usage of 12 as a measurement ...when the rep should have quoted completely as it was ' up to 12'.
I'm not taking sides in this, but from a common sense point of view if you think of real vehicles and passengers or troops riding in them, at slower speeds it is possible to fire off personal weapons and hit something. At higher speeds it is exceedingly unlikely to hit a target or near impossible.
The question was referring to weapons carried by these troops - right?

| Don't let ir ruin you on warhammer, the heads of gw come and go. and all systems have silly rules. It's more about hanging outand having a good time than anything else. Trust me It makes no sense how many kill points IG can give up, if you makes a non compact list, one troop choice costs you 4 kill-points. don't let one lil bad rule turn you off, just wait till you go to a turny and meet a real life rules lawyer. | |

| It is prevelant in every game system. Warmachine too. GW actually does a better job with their rules (clear and consistent) then 99% of the folks out there. There are just more people with opinions about the ruleset then most games too. |

| WOTC was the best about that with Magic.
There would be a few problems right when a new set came out and then they would get errataed or FAQd in like three weeks and that would be the end of the issue.
