SNOW!! Closings, weather event weirdness...

Subject: SNOW!! Closings, weather event weirdness... Tue Jan 27, 2009 11:18 pm

So far I've seen that Finneytown schools, North College Hill Schools, Northwest Schools, and Mt. Healthy schools are closed. Tri Countyt Mall appears to be opening later thanb usual tomorrow.

Anyone seen Northgate Mall or Colerain Township places mentioned in crawls during the News??

My luck - they'll announce Northgate is closed one minute after I go out my front door in the morning.

Yes....and Northgate Mall is still open until they announce otherwise. That means a VERY slow and lonely day at the Mall.

Already low salt and fuel supply for snow removal work crews
Excessive flight delays and cancled flights
CVG( I assume that's where she's coming in at) is in KY, and they are in worse shape than we are!

I hope she brougt her snow boots and a big book!

Ok, I just looked at her schdule, and its Houston Int. to Dallas' (already delayed), then to Dayton Int.

If she is on schdule, she won't arrive untill 8:00pm, in Dayton. I think she will be fine. Thanks for the heads up. Wink

well, even though my office isn't closed, I got stuck in my driveway trying to go in this morning. I made it about 50 ft, and had to stop for traffic and couldn't get started again. Can't even reverse!

yeah,
my section of street doesn't get plowed but once during the day (That was at 3pm yesterday)

if not for me and my neighbor having snow blowers... I wouldn't have been able to go out at all yesterday

yeah hurricanes do kinda suck, but Watching stuff blow past is fun!

They CLOSED the Mall - 35 minutes after I got there and had opened the store.

Then, they waffled about they were going to re-open the Mall or not in the afternoon.
Finally it was decded Northgate was/will be closed all day.

i dunno what i would DO with myself if there was no snow. love it!

I've been out of school for four days straight. I'm getting cabin fever. 6 day weekend cheers

...and now they predict 1 to 3 inches of snow for Tuesday morning.
