| Suffering from a bit of Eldar related strabismus, I decided to post my scheme trooper for my latest project. I'm in the closing mile with Mr Eldar so its time to stretch the limited hours as May approaches. At least the Tau are passable if all else fails.. Big thanks to JohnG on hosting a painting Q&A for my nmm "attempts" and pushing me towards those luvurly Series7 brushes.

| A quick take on horns/bone for the army. Crunch time for May so it needed to be simple. Thoughts? |

| Personally the brown near the helmet just doesnt seem to work that much for me when i look at the model. Idk why but i almost see the horns being mostly the first color from the brown or th second from the brown with the tips white. Thats only my opinion tho. All around the the model kicks ass! |

| Those are great. NMM is really hard, but it looks like you pulled it off pretty well. _________________ http://whowritesthisstuff.net/ |

| Thanks.. these are WiP mind you, just looking at the different components. @wolfman: I need to differentiate my browns, but I'll try another pot @THEmikeleon: Going 50+ Marines with this nmm attempt may have been a bit to chew, but as long as they come up table top standard I'm happy. -------- So then the army skin tone. Just gonna keep to one for now. Trying a purple wash over and it came out OK for a first jab. Thoughts to improve? WiP skin ... no peeking at that awful leg armour |

| First Rhino APC without decals and some minor detail and cleanup still to go. I have to pull myself away from the model seeing its a 35pt model in a 1750pt army ..but I'll get back to it. Went with an iron/ink mix for the treads. After a muck up/weathered look should be OK |

| Thanks John I much more comfortable with the gold than the silver. I'm gonna try a BA Honour Guard trophy helmet on the next Champion and see how that goes.
Back to classes but I completed alot of early stage work. Should wrap up another squad or so this week. Gonna cut it close! |
