It is the only one I'm doing (except maybe a terradon by request of my 5 year old).... so please post your stuff. BTW - he'll be for sale soon if you need to add one to the army. |

| Tell you what I think is cool and unique is the shadowing with the blue/purple?
Nice job John.
I have a portfolio on my comp with different styles or ideas of color usage. This one will definitely find a home there. | |

Base coat VMC German Camo Brown. Brown Ink wash. Leather Brown VMC Ochre Yellow Bleached bone Bleach bone and white. Just a lot of time and layers. @Chad It is VMC Oxford blue. It has a touch of red in it and some grey. It is a "counter shading technique". Use a colors compliment as a shade. While blue isnt' the compliment of red (green is) it accomplishes something similar. It's value isn't necessarily "darker then the red" but with less color intensity it gives the impression of a shade. |
