do you have a neat conversion for the devil dog yet?

It will be interesting to see what it looks like.. Or if everyone uses the inferno cannon bits and just uses the 'counts as' rules..

I'm just gonna wait till the new box comes out. Once that happens, I can imagine you'll be seeing quite a few devil dogs crawling abouts.

My thoughts with the lone Devil Dog
1) I only have one model. So, he's lonely because of that!
2) I am going to pair the Devil Dog with the two Sentinels. I know they aren't the same type model, but if an opponent concentrates on one of them, the other two will fire back
3) Got the two LR's that will also draw fire


I did do some modifying, I sawed off the end of the inferno cannon that is on it and took the tip of a multi melta from a AOBR dread and attached it to the front.

Your gonna have to be agressive with the short range of this army, seeing as your main anti tink are the melta guys, and the short range of your russes, seems like an in your face list list.

Very true, sexiest... Though, I do have the Master of Ordinance, which is LOS, and non-LOS, so that's longer range, and then the Vindicator is also long range as well, so I won't be at a total disadvantage at a distance. Two movements and the Devil Dog will be in optimal range, and the lascannons that I have will also help out (both from the guardsmen and the two tanks). Last year at the tourney I lost one game because I had all long range stuff, and no short range capabilities, and so I am going to try something that's a little closer range, but powerful. Who knows, though. I mean, I can't do worse than I did last year! (well, unless I lose all three games.... I actually tied the last game of the day last year). If I win one game, it'll be an improvement!
