Looking for a Mini: LONE WOLF & CUB

so My frien and I got into the Face Book L5R game-
and it's renew his interest in the series

He's looking for a Mini of
a (Samurai/Ronin) Father and infant son (in stroller/Carrage)


I've exausted my knowledge of Sites
Miniature Market, FRP games, War Store, Toad and Troll, Scale Creep


there is a lot of good stuff out there (Underworld and Sin City, Good Bad and Ugly)
but nothing like what he is looking for


HELP!

Is this an actual mini produced by a company or are you looking for something to represent this in a game?

BlackScorpion, Bloomoon, and Artizan all do some neat "One-Off" of some pretty iconic stuff
like Kate Beckensale from Underworld
Marve From SinCity
Harry potter "Wizards Apprentice"
there are som pieces out there tatat are listed as the "B" Team (A-Team)
and even the 3 characters from "The Good, Bad and the Ugly"

I was really hoping that somebody had done

I guess I have know idea who lone wolf and cub are but I assume you mean they are a character set and the company that created the character doesn't do figures. So has another company using their IP to create the figs.

Or

Lacking another foundry doing the work then a representation. Any pics to help?

it's a pretty sweet comic series
very indepth, there was also a TV series done overseas in the early 70's

essentially there is an Imperial Exocutioner-
who goes through some trials and issues and is forced on the run with an infant child-
many comedic and juxtaposed situations in both Japaneese culture as well as for those of us in the west-

I mean, c'mon, a Ronin Samurai Exocutioner- with a baby stroller made of Polearms and Glaves running through fudal japan...

Not sure but I think you will have difficulty in finding the stroller. looks like a conversion.

But I like the Okko line of figs for your samurai.

There was a line of mini's for the L5R RPG, but you would most likely have to mod the baby stroller from a wagon, wheelbarrel or something.

I did find the L5R mins (Thanks!)

but for the most part, they all coorespond to the Iconic art of the RPG books or Card Game-

I believe you both are correct- the stroller is gonna be the challenge-
Perhaps I could convince him to settle for a fig of the child as a toddler....

I got so excited for a minute. I actually have a 2005 Reaper catalog with the Lo5R line in it, but it looks like you already found it somewhere.

they are still out there
FRP Games and Miniature Market still sell them in limited quantities
( I ordered the Madman of the planes )

we managed to get some cool looking samurai from Scale Creep; like he read our minds- he had samurai mini's on sale for $1 each!
