These rules can be found on the GW web page. Some IG highlights.

From the PDF:

Forces of the Inquisition
• Codex Daemonhunters
• Codex Witchhunters
• Inquisitorial armies may take Imperial Guard and
Space Marine allies, chosen from the latest versions of
their codices. As both of these codices have changed
recently, use the following amendments to the list on
pg 30-31 of the Daemon Hunters book and page 26
of the Witch Hunters book:
Troops
Space Marine Tactical Squad, Space Marine Scout
Squad, Imperial Guad Infantry Platoon, Imperial
Guard Veteran Squad. Unit upgrade characters
may NOT be taken (i.e. Commander Chenkov,
Sergeant Bastonne)
Fast Attack
Space Marine Assault Squad, Land Speeder
Squadron, Space Marine Bike Squadron, Scout
Sentinel Squadron, Armored Sentinel Squadron,
Rough Rider Squad, Scout Bike Squad
Heavy Support
Space Marine Devastator Squad, Space Marine
Land Raider (Crusader and Redeemer as well),
Space Marine Dreadnought, Space Marine
Predator, 0-1 Leman Russ Squadron (Pask may NOT
be taken)

Grey Knight Terminators may not travel in Valkyries
or Vendetta Gunships.

After the mess of the last years Ard boyz that let to the firing of the head community guy I won't be attending, good luck to everyone who does though.

Edited for linkage.

Wow seeing events at the Krystal Keep and Bookery make it tempting. Those places are relatively close and have decent terrain.

Although I've heard allot of bad things about tournament play and frankly not sure how to handle possible cheating by a stranger. One thing that is for certain I've seen cheating at other gaming tournaments so GW event can't be any different.

The bit about named IG and Inquisition forces along with the Valkyrie
without Termies makes sense. If one wants named IG characters then
stick to IG.

As far as I can tell there wasnt any issues at the CAG tourney this year or last at least it wasn't brought up to me.

I wouldnt worry about how to act if someone cheats, worry about having fun! If something happens that you feel is wrong then bring it up to the opponent, mor eoften than not when things like that happen they honestly didn't know, they should but they don't. If there is a disagreement then kindly as for a judge, no biggie, and if they have a problem with it they are not playing in the spirit of the game.

All in all Tourney's aren't that bad! Try em out more, I am gonna try the KK tourney if I can!

It also answers the discussion we had about taking Allied Inquisitors with IG,

"Imperial Guard may take Inquisitorial Allies
as defined in Codex Daemonhunters or
Codex Witchhunters."

Looks like even though you can't take named characters when you have an Inquisition army (with Allied IG or SM), you can still build a normal IG army with characters and have an Inquisitor ally. Smile

I've been doing tourneys religiously the past year and a half and have yet to come across any issues with cheating, either against me or around me in other games. Tourneys may bring out the competativeness in gamers, but I don't feel anybody is truley out there to screw you. If you feel something is not right, talk to the organizer. The KK will have several people walking around helping run the tourneys, just flag one down.
