Thanks for the great game Dooley. It was really over from round one. The Salamander melta brigade immbolized a Land Raider, Razorback and took our my thunderfire cannon round 1... (not that there was anything to shoot at in a MEQ army). Dooley fielded one and really felt the same thing through the game. They are a winner vs hordes ( I was expecting some IG) but dudes otherwise.

My dice didn't show up until the bottom of the 3rd round. By that time it was mop up time for Sean.

My favorite part of the game was a lone marine (Rouge trader metal beakie) that held off a 10 man tact squad for 4 rounds of close combat. Making several saves each round and forcing a break test on the amphibians. An embarrassed Vulcan Hestan quickly came over and bailed out the tactical squad much to his displeasure.

Thanks for the game. Can't wait to play again.

Yea Sean thanks for the game, had fun playing even though i still stumble through the some of the rules especially vehicles "what do I do next" lol

but all in all a good game would have liked to see the last 2 turns played out, your Hero's and termi squads was looking to face a whole lot of bugs big and small on that last assault phase!

"We shall meet again Imperial fists" Say's the Hive Tyrant!

OH yea! Thanks for the use of the dice Danny, the small white ones did OK for me maybe i left a little Tyranid luck on them for you! ha ha! Get rid rid of the big dice on 5 different 3+ save rolls I saved 1 lol.

But yea good time!
wish we had more time!

Agreed. I had a great time, and it was really fun hanging out and BSing with everyone.

Totally with John on the Thunderfire---If you're playing against Orks, Nids, or IG, I think it's a must take for marines. The thing can do some serious damage.

As for my squad, I think I may try a Techmarine on his own next time. After reading the Salamander story in Heroes of the Space Marines, I'm pretty convinced they'd bring at least one Techie to the fray each and every time out.

Look forward to playing again! Thanks!
