Was going to post in RPF's thread but didn't know if that coutned a necroing at topic. Linkage: https://cincycag.forumotion.com/other-wargames-f11/necromunda-t2455.htm
Over the years I've seen a number of the gw alternative games brought up on forums, here and elsewhere. When WoHaG was open we even had a Mordhiem campaign, inquistor, and almost got a Gorkamorka going.

But haven't seen Necromunda in a store in a VERY long time. Like back in college.

No clue with the newer rules. I have the old stuff and like it very much. And owning the terrain helps allot. Can't imagine how much time it would take to make good homade stuff.

If anyone is willing to plan in advance sometime myself, maybe Nick, can make it down to Scifi or elsewhere. It would be nice to use the terrain for something other than 40K factory/refinery terrain.

I actually own a gang, had 3 battles and our start-up campaign died. Seemed like an interesting game though.

The "new" rules that GW released a few years ago are nothing more than prettied up reprints of the old rules. Nothing changed at all. If you have the old rules sets, you are current albeit without the new artwork...

I am totally willing to start up a campaign, but it would have to be on Wed. or Thurs. nights/evenings. I have 5+ box sets worth of terrain and one of every gang if anyone needs a loaner.

Didn't they put out a hardback revised rule book that made the many different size templates of the old set no longer necessary? If I am wrong on that then sorry.

Nice

Nick has some Van Sarr, have my goggle dudes and the Redemptionists somewhere.

Wednesdays are my best day. Normally drag Nick along in case the store is a bust. July 1st, Wednesday is the next open day.

Angrybob, the other night at Ciny Sci-fi, we talked about Necro and you said your friend told you that there were no more templates in the new rulebook. I said that that was untrue, that there were templates still. You said you did not believe me and that you had to see it to believe it.

Here ya go:

Necrmunda - revisted Template-01

Necrmunda - revisted Template-02

Necrmunda - revisted Template-03

Necrmunda - revisted Template-04

Necrmunda - revisted Template-05

Necrmunda - revisted Template-06

In addition, the most current official rules are the Living Rulebook. On page 19-20 of said book you can find the full rules for templayes in Necromunda.

So, yeah. Same rules as the original book. Start believing me now? Very Happy

In the box set rules the hand flamer for starters had a the 4+ ammo role, it wasn't one shot. Also it used a small teardrop template. The living rules book refers to a page 146 for templates even though it ends on page 120. There are no template downloads in the necromunda section for specialist games. Not to forget that in the newer description it doesn't even say anything about a small tear drop template.

Just flipping through their pdf even the shotgun ammo "scatter shot" lost it's 1" blast template.

Am I missing something?
