Stay in the drop pod Empty
PostSubject: Stay in the drop pod   Stay in the drop pod EmptyWed Aug 26, 2009 12:20 am

I can't find a rule anywhere that says units must leave a drop pod when it hits the field.

So can my units stay in their drop pod for the whole game?

Edit: I did find the rule that says that - and it's only in the vanilla marines codex.

Actually its army specific...i dont know about the Space Wolves but I will address the BA's since i know you play them. Their new online codex (GW released an updated version after 5thed) says you must immed disembark upon landing.

I checked on this. The printed codex doesn't say it but the pdf does.

Someone needs to check Black Templars and Dark Angels. I sense the potential for amazing brokenness.

No no no! You don't want to stay in the drop pod. You want to:

I will check the black templar codex right now....but you know that the pdf (white dwarf) BA codex over rides the printed book as it was released as an official list with FAQ included

When a pod hits, the doors blow no matter what, correct?

Thats what the fluff says, but since Games Workshop doesen't seem interested in supporting their products and their customers its really all just what people agree on. What a sad company they are.
