Sitting in front of me right now
-Waaagh can be used once a game, gives the whole army Fleet of Foot.
-Weirdboyz provide a free waaagh on a roll of a 6. Can be upgraded so that you can re roll the random power.
-Painbozy give the unit they are in Feel no Pain (sweet!).
-It's pretty funny "the Ork passengers bail out of their vehicle before it falls apart with a noise like a Meganob falling down a spiral staircase."
-StormBoyz have jump packs that add a D6 to how far they can go each time the move or fall back. On a 1, one of the boyz dies.
-Lots of special characters, including a few returning (from 3rd and before)
The list goes: Kaptin Badrukk, Ghazghkull Thraka (the man is insane), Mad Dok Grotsnik, Wazdakka Gutsmek, Old Zogwort (+D6 attacks that all wound on 2+!), Boss Snikrot and Boss Zagstruk (Power claw that strike at Initiative, and a charge the same turn as he deepstrikes with his unit!).
Hmm, interesting. Some of these guys are bought just like normal special characters (they take up an HQ slots). Other however, are bought like a squad leader (Boss Nikrot, and Zagstruk plus a few others). Pretty cool, allows you to field an army with a bunch of these fellas (most are cheap and simple).
In ConclusionOverall, a very very cool book. Although they have swung the direction a little. They are pretty shooty now, not that they don't hold up in close combat (but all the boyz are I2, so you will need lots of 'em, even if they do have Furious Charge). Lots of very goofy and random things which are a lot of fun.
Hell I want to start one in the new year just to model all the silly units.
It's also really funny, as I mentioned earlier.
Let me know if you have any questions.
