Want to do Space Hulk rules demo's.... when and where?

So I want to start doing Space Hulk demo's to teach people how to play. But I'm not sure what you usually have to do to set up a game at one of the locations we have available.

Should I call up the various stores to see if they have tables available on given nights?

I don't know if there are regularly scheduled gaming nights for other games that I will need to schedule around, is there a chart somewhere that says, what is regularly played at what locations on what nights?

If any of you are interested in getting a demo, and already have a place and time in mind, let me know, and I'll try to be there.

Bear in mind that I work and have other commitments every weekday from 7AM til 6PM, so I can only do games in the evenings.

Also remember that if you have your own terminators and/or genestealers, you are free to bring them along and use them. You don't HAVE to use the ones that came with the game.

In our store's case - just call when Eric is there and he'll put it on the schedule for September.

Right now we only have 4 "official" events or demos scheduled - and one of them has already happened.

We usually have 1 or 2 tables available.

Check the local shops and see what days are good
ACME and YQ have a set schedule of events planed daily
certainly calling ahead doesn't hurt

a Thursday at Yotta Would be a bad choice-
but Monday at ACME would be smart... and so on

YQ & ACME have "Board Game" nights; might be a good idea to try those nights in addition to the standard GW game nights

make sure you have extra copies of the rules available
if not already available, create a quick set of rules
set up a single scenario (something that can be played in 15-20min)

Be early
and look presentable
- other people besides "us" may want to see how this is played and buy in...
