Even though I'm helping Warmonger with his Imperial Guard, I do have my own project going on.

Almost... a winged Avatar, 5 more D-Avengers, Fuegan, and another wave serpent and I'll be done. 'monger's I.G. take precedence right now. Thanks for the comments!

That's ok, I've taken some crap for having them. It makes me want to kick some butt with them even more! Very Happy

Hey I used to LOVE painting Eldar, I just didn't like playing them. Of course that was back in Rogue Trader days.

Oh I like painting them, but still getting used to playing with them. They're not like CSM or bugs.

I would really like some info on how you painted the white on the bikes, looks either really simply (some weird spray paint technique) or really complicated...

I used an airbrush, but I suppose one could use just a simple can of spray paint. Started heavy at the tip of the vehicle, then tappered it off as I went up the vehicle. Not really that hard, other than getting the flow of the gun right.

Between units of I.G. I painted my Avatar.

If you read the Horus Heresy books, in Fulgrim, Fulgrim and his marines are on that planet with Eldrad having a sit down. Things go awry and a skirmish breaks out. Eldrad had an Avatar accompaning him (who eventually gets crunched in that skirmish). When reading that part of the book, this is what I imagined an Avatar of the Ulthwe' to look like, (minus the wings).
