What colour should the blood be on my Ork?

I would go with red, personally. If you were painting green, it would be a little tough to make it stand out... I had the same issue with my Black Knights for fantasy, I made a banner carrier with a head impaled on the top, and painted the banner red, then tried to paint blood on it... I was able to make it look passable, but I should have thought about it before hand and made the banner yellow or orange or something like that...

Seeing as Orks are a plant-based species, the blood should technically be green, I think. Dark green or a lighter green would depend on your skin tone used.

Go with black. If you remember in the Lord of the Rings, all the orks had black blood. Green blood with green skin won't show up well.

i could've sworn i saw pink with blue pokadots...or maybe it was blue with pink pokadots...man I've had a trippy afternoon...too much glue fumes again...

You can make cool gore by spray painting over rubber bands and other squishy stuff. If you paint it a different shade of green and then gloss coat it, it will stand out from the rest of the model.
