Simple Green

Anyone know what Simple Green will do to resin?

I don't have anything to test it on looking to peel some paint off.

I never had any success with simple green on plastics or resin.

I forget the brand but break fluid did it for me.

Not the acidic stuff, the oily stuff. It just pulled away all paint, primer, no greasy residue, its amazing.

You can also try "purple power", it works great for plastics and is non-toxic. I've left models to soak for over a month with no softening or damage. The paint falls right off with a soft brush. You'll find it in the automotive cleaning section.

pine sol works well for me.

Normally takes a few sessions and a lot of toothbrushing though.

No idea what it would do to resin either

no!!!!!!

Pine sol is terrible on plastics! It also is poisoness!

I have a whole bag of cadians ruined thanks to that accursed stuff, even what it did clean, left a residue.

I dont know if you used a new brand or something but I will denounce pine sol till the end.

yeah, pine sol on metals is 'ok' but only for cleanups befor repainting

Just saying I've had success doing it.

Every single one of my deathguard was cleaned using pinesol. They had 2 paintjobs covering them.

It does a amazing job on metal, but then again most things work well with metal. But like I said I had a bad experience with plastics... I think I still have those somewhere...
