I need a quality white spray/primer as I prepare to churn out my next army and dive into some Privateer Press goodness..

The Krylon ultra flat camo black has been brilliant. I would love a white spray along these lines (aka lower co$t than GW and kicks bum)

Maybe GW is bestest afterall?

Anyone with success using car paint?

Anyone try out Army Painter sprays?

I really do like GW white primer. Army painter is alright, but seems to degrade super quick if i let it sit on the shelf for too long.

Maybe a storage problem, but the gw primer is always ok.

I use alot of different sand-able types of primer, I don't "coat" cause the color doesn't always sit smooth but the ridges in it all will still prime it 100% but as for coating Auto mobile primer for my blood angels has been working great also sand-able

I never found a cheap good white primer.

My favorite is Tamiya Light Grey "fine". It is a little easier to coat then white but it is about $7.00 a small can. No

Here is what the guys from Brushthralls have to say...looks like Krylon and a automotive primer called Dupli-color....

http://blog.brushthralls.com/?page_id=1196

Very rarely do I use light primers, but when I do I have a can of the Tamiya Grey from Hobbytown. I have never needed to do anything with a white basecoat and not sure what your base is.

Red I am thinking......

EDIT: Just looked at the date on the OP... I am sure Marc found some by now, but will maybe help someone else. lol!
