| | Quote: | ACME Games is CLOSING It is very difficult for us to make this announcement, but after more than thirteen years in business, ACME Games will be closing it's doors for good on April 24th.
We all know the economy isn't great right now. We all know that a lot of people are playing online games or buying their games from online stores and eBay. Times are tough and while we stuck it out as long as we could, there comes a time when difficult decisions have to be made.
We've enjoyed serving the Cincinnati area for as long as we have. We never opened the business to make it profit. We always just wanted to break even and have the best store in the area for people to come in, hang out, and have fun. Unfortunately the former has become impossible for us.
Going Out of Business SALE!
As cliche as it is, we'll be having a Going Out of Business Sale!
Starting April 12, we will be discounting everything in the store at least 10%, with many items (like comic back issues) being dropped even lower in price.
As we get closer to our final day (April 24th) that discount will become lower and lower.
And as they say with these sales on TV: "Everything must go!" That means you can make us an offer on the counters, the tables, the chairs, lockers, and anything else we have.
Thank You Loyal Customers!
We know this news will come as a shock to many of our regulars. We sincerely want to thank you for your business and support over the years. We'll miss you. |
I found out yesterday but I was waiting for it to be announced on their forum first. This is an email sent by Acme Games. sad day... _________________ The footprints made in the sands of time are not made by sitting down... Unless your playing Warhammer WAAAGH!
