| OK....I'm bringing this to you guys for a reason. Your like family. I'm pretty tight to some of you on here and I'm amking some more really good friends as we grow on here. Here's my dilema......everyone know's that...I'm a "BIG" guy. I have been thinking it over and decided since I'm not happy with the way my weight loss is going that I'm going to do surgery. Now looking it over for months and all of the side effects and stories, there is one that is pretty successful and I started looking into it. It's called the sleeve. http://surgery.about.com/od/proceduresaz/a/VSGWLSSurgery.htmWell here's the clencher. You have to meet with dr's and take part in a clinic which gives you all the info, including pre surgery info.....supply your insurance info....and all that crap. It's the same day as the CAG Tourny May 22nd. So you see my problem. Next clinic won't be until September. Now....How importnat is my life compared to 40k? Anyway....my dliema.....figure you all have the right to know. | |

| Dude, I'll freaking play 40k with you for an entire day if you decide to make the right decision for your life.
IMO, health gotta come first. 40k second.

| My thoughts would be this, CJ, if you feel the need to improve your health, it's definitely more important than 40k. You'll always have next year to play, but if you are trying to get yourself healthy, the sooner you do it, the longer you'll be around to actually play. I know several people who went through similar procedures, and it was the best thing they ever did. Of course, there are risks, and you have to be careful with it, but if you are able to get healthy with it, it will extend your lifespan considerably!
Anyhow, those are my two cents.

| Yeah the CAG tourny is a big one for the year, but if you are looking to play in a tourny we have had like 8 in the last six months, anywhere from 1000 pts with most being 1850 or more, and I am sure we will have another 10 by years end.
Go to the clinic. | |

| Sean(Makari) PM SENT....
Don't get me wrong guys, I want to play but you all pretty much know my decision.....I'm not checking out like my dad did at 55. There is no way. Games are just getting better n better.
Either way, I'll be taking my time hitting the table then for the rest of the month and through May. I'mm available for Vassal and early morning Sat games until Memorial day then can game all Day on Saturday.
thanks | |

| No dilema man... I don't even know why this was even a second thought for you!
Get healthy I would rather have you play in many more games in the years to come.
