| I started this thread on dakka based on an 'event' in the game Altahara and I had on Saturday. The intent of the post (originally) was to discuss "gamesmenship". It has turned into a nightmare over there (no surprise). So I guess I'm a cheater and TFG (according to one side). Good thing I got altahara tabled me anyhow despite his best efforts to destroy his own forces. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/296446.page |

| Holy crap. Six pages on that? Amazing. I think this is a pretty clear case of spirt vs letter of the rules.
There's a guy that wanted to put Gabriel Seth on a 60mm base to maximize the amounts of Auto Hits on Whirlwind of Gore. Again, spirit vs letter.
A Warning. If anyone ever asks me to measure for a Basalisk or Medusa attack (and no, I don't mean the scatter) I will shove my tape measure down your throat until that 72" is coming out your anus.

It is pretty reasonable until page 3. Then it gets outta control when nobody is reading or cares about the OP. |

| I knew there was a reason I didn't like posting on Dakka much. God, I'm glad a lot of those guys aren't in my group. | |

- You could also pull the tape out to 36" and flip it upside down so no info is transfered, only that the shot is within 36"

Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry clever, Tony! I miss playing against that guy on a weekly basis.

What do you mean? I thought tanks could move 16" and still fire all their weapons!

| I want to make sure that this isn't to call out Altahara. As I said at Dakka..he was well within his right to ask.
@marc... yea... that was my favorite solution and what I'll do next time. @ Dooley... The guy w/ the shoe box was a piece of Sh*t at adepticon. |

| I think it was a good question John, and it sparked a good debate. Sure, it was Dakka, so it was bound to get out of hand. I can see both sides. That's 40K for you. | |

I know its 100% anal But it is Against rules not to measure the 72" plus if someone ask just make sure when it snaps back into its self you hit off a figure or brake something and blame it on his dumb ass for being anal
