While standing in the Temple known as Yotta...

...I finally get a hold of "The Prize Baby" for a one trick pony Army list.
That prize my fellow war gamers is no other than Mephiston Lord of Death.

I am thinking its on now sport fans. Due to the fact I have a game down at the temple with a buddy tomorrow. So while at the store I am rappin' with the fellas and thinkin yes it is on.

Instead of hangin for a bit I break camp and make my way to the house to put this HQ together and double check my point total.


BREAK- Where is this goin' right ? relax, I'll get there but in order to ask this question at the end, I gotta set it up...

OK- Back to the action,
So I am all jacked up and thinkin' slam dunk .While building Mephiston building priming painting sanding dry brushing and Here "BOOM" There's the kitchen sink.

So while the mini is drying I pick up the codex to double check my points .
Man, I got a freakin' smile on my face you couldn't wipe off with a ball bat to the fore head. My points are good and my list is solid.

However I made one critical error...

You see I'm green to the game compared to most who play.
I was building and fielding a Death Company Army list w/ Astorath the grim and lemartes Guardian of the lost.

With Mephiston and his transfixing gaze and being a psyker it would of been a blast. I'm thinkin Hey With a bunch of out of control Death company marines you dont need any stinkin objectives...

However for this to work I fitted everyone w/ jump packs. Heres the punch line

There is no listing for jump pack for mephiston...

If it was going to work everyone needed jump packs in my mind.

I know it may not of been a tourney grade Army list, but I tend to reach for the fun aspect more than the uber kill shot list.

To me this would of been alot of fun to try out.

My question to those who may respond:

"Have you ever got all cranked out for a certain list and like me put everything together to find out in the last steps of it...

You miss read something and it will not work ???"

Well I scraped the list and reworking new one (OH WELL)

Ok to better explain this:

Mephiston, Lord of Death, - psyker he knows sanguine sword. unleash rage, wings of sanguinius, psyuchic powers see pg #@$@# he can use 3 per player turn. flipping over to the @#$@#$ page we read Wings of Sanguinius. Two blood Red wings of psychi energy spring from the librarian's back allowing him to fly over the battlefield. This power is used in the librarian's movement phase and last for the rest of the turn. it allows the librarian to move as if he had a jump pack. a lirarian riding a bike that uses this ability moves as if he was riding a jet bike.


So yes I did change a few words to remove copy write legality but still its close to what it says in the book.. but being able to use 3 abilitys each turn so I would use flight, might of heros, then the sword.. so Im streagth 10 with d3+ atks and flight every turn on my turn, now thats if im assaulting if I know I'm not in range I would SUPA MAN!!!!
