Not so Local Tournaments Empty
PostSubject: Not so Local Tournaments   Not so Local Tournaments EmptyWed Jun 30, 2010 4:29 pm

I am looking for some links, blogs, web pages to some not so local gaming.

I am wanting to travel to Indianapolis, Columbus, Lexington, Louisville to be specific to play in some of their local events. I want to see how events are run from other areas.

I know some people are very up to date on what is happening in some of these areas and I would like to be in the know, so to speak.

Any help with linking some of the above ideas here would be helpful in my start to compile information. If you are a troller and want to just PM that would be great also.

Yeah, I tried the Circle City Gamers link but I can't seem to get the page to show for the 40K event...

I know they just had their South Indy Tourny last week or the week before. I caught it on another blog.

Have this one bookmarked now and will start checking it.

@ Kirby - Not sure what you mean about the link, I wondered around there for a bit and could find everything.

Ok I see what you are talking about, yeah it was last week, their Tournament, so it may have been a temporary blog they ran.

Here is the link I found the other day about the South Indy Tournament

Think this is where the dead link is supposed to go.

Yea.. I usually just head to the forums at Circle City Gamers to get any information. Their blog is too busy sometimes.

Hmmmm...Even the forums seem a little quiet, at least as far as 40K events go. Is Indy a smaller 40K community than Cincy or Dayton?

Does anybody know what Indy stores run 40K events? Do they have websites and calendars?

Game Preserve I think is the largest retail group in the area. They have 3 or 4 stores but I'm not sure if any have playing space.
