Pop and Drop help?

Ok so I have been doing alot of reading on various Menoth Units and tactics as Menoth is the only faction that interest me in the WM line. Can anyone explain what the menoth "Pop and Drop" assasination technique is? It is referenced alot, but without much explanation as I guess it is assumed that everyone is aware of it. Thank you.

Pop and Drop:

Take Kreoss and whatever powerful ranged models you like. Redeemers are are a popular choice. Let's take two of them for this example.

1. Kreoss allocated 2 FOC to each Redeemer (they're ROF 3).
2. Kreoss gets within 14" of the enemy caster.
3. Kreoss pops his feat - enemy caster is KD, and his DEF is now 5.
4. Each Redeemer shoots the enemy caster 3 times.
5. Enemy caster dies.

That's it, in a nutshell.

It's a fun one, watch out for a similar tactic with Sorcha and anything with a bombard. Not quite as good, but still deadly. Plus Sorcha can jump at you from pretty far out.

She still gets something like 17 inches its pretty crazy. I stopped using her because she is so squishy.

Sorscha's feat has a LOS restriction, though, so it's not as easy button as Kreoss.
