So a not so original Chapter name.. whatever.. Razz

Working name or not, I have ton of Marine bits and various leftovers from Black Reach boxes to plop together a working army.

Why Space Marines? Well, beyond the fact it is the cheape$t route I believe it is the safest. Painting up a DIY Chapter means I have free regin over the Power Armour books. I know GW will support my little lot in the next edition(s)

Nothing painted yet but I've managed to glue some fingers together. Fear not for I have at least a scheme knocked out. I wanted the scheme to be safe for use as evil power armour so I kept it "dark" looking. For now though I will stick with Codex: Vanilla as I have quite a few AoBR Dreadnoughts staring at me and a Master of the Forge all in pieces.

Interesting color combo here. I like the spider theme! Want some tiny spiders that come from the arachnoraok spider? they would be perfect for thebases or extra bits on vehicles!!!

Very Cool, I like the scheme alot. The lighter shoulder pads makes a big difference with the spider which is awesome by the way. Smile

Huge push on the assembly side this week along with several pieces receiving layer 1s and 2s as well. Not that glamorous..

Also, started my LAST term at school which slowed things down.

WiP of a Razorback with Lascannon/Twin Plasma Gun turret.. probably spent waaay too much time on the model side of things, but I was never really happy with the other prototypes.

Sorry for the phone pics Sad

Thanks!

This morning I managed to get base layers on three dreads. I am discovering the Black Legion went MUCH quicker as I was going off a simple Krylon layer and went straight to details. The new plan is to get everything green/blue and then return to the army in mid August or sooner if possible. This will avoid me playing a plastic "grey" army or a primered "black" army at least.. I know, I know
