Dark Eldar

Ive been out of the 40k game for a couple years now, but started on the horus heresy series where i had stoped and i have a somewhat renewed interest in the game. Want to try out some dark eldar since it finaly got a new release anybody have suggestions on whats good and whats not or even if they are a decent army overall.

They are competitive but very tricksy. They are the type of army you need to be thinking 2 turns ahead. It seems the most popular choices are spamed Dark Light weapons and Venoms with twin splinter cannons. I myself have been using portals with some good success but they don't seem to be near as popular.
