Pretty cool, but I still don't think that GW can do a decent Dragon.... I mean, the Dark Elf one is OK, but it still looks WAY too cartoonish for my taste.

Yeah, I do like that one! And the Azghaz the Slaughterer Wyvern too! They look sufficiently menacing, and not so dopey that they look retarded.

I did get my Ultraforge Dragon today, so I'll have one that's sufficiently bada$$ for my tastes Smile

Ok I restate the Giggity part. After some serious trading I got my hands on the Book, a nice looking Cockatrice, and the fulcrums! I did buy the little spell book/cards.

The overall feel from the book is that 8th edition just got a NOS upgrade.
I am really impressed by GW's marketing on this product.
The core idea for this expansion is this:
Your army book doesn't have a really cool monster, no fear now it has access to a crap ton!

Oh the magic is powerful too...

The way you incorporate the new Magic is play a 2,000 point game? add 25% more points taht can be spent on the magic supplememnt ie 500 points. You get like 2 scrolls of binding which allow you to choose a monster each but you still have to spend the points for them. Spells get a boost and I mean every lore from every book is in there!!!
You can even get a pact from CHaos Demons, Vampire counts, and Tomb Kings which allows you to field from that army book!

The new fulcrums give massive bonuses to mages!!!

And yes even dwarves get use of them!.

Just a few noteworthy mosters any army can get:
Cockatrice
Manticore
Wyvern,
3 types of Dragons
2 Types of Giants (GW or forgeworld!)
All 4 Greater Demons, but are 777points each.
Warmammoth,
Arachnorok Spider
just to name a few...
