Strategy Ratings

What are the strategy ratings really used for? I can't figure it out. The only thing I could see them being used for is choosing the mission when you roll a 6 on the basic random scenario chart.

We use them for 1st turn determination.

I thought it was deployment zone when the missions asks for it.

Matt is correct, the rulebook does not state what it actually does just how to use it. Every time it is used it is used to select board edge in missions. I dont ave a big rulebook handy, but check your battle, raid, and breakthrough missions.

Most people just roll a dice instead. Plus you will see them less if people just decide to play kill missions... As a lot of people do.

If a 6 is rolled on mission chart, you roll a number of dice equal to your rating using the highest. Winner picks mission.
